You are You joins forces with Cricket for a vinyl-led rooftop session that leans into house, disco, electro and prog. It's less about theatrics and more about letting good records do what they're supposed to do. For Closing the Deal, they build on a simple business plan: high-quality records, strong dancefloor infrastructure and a willingness to negotiate. Momentum is brokered track by track and key transactions take place somewhere between the kick and hi-hats. No funny business, just clean execution; an invitation to shake hands, exchange ideas and, ideally, close a few deals before the night is over.

Cricket is a vinyl DJ operating out of Eora, with an extensive record collection that charts a path through soulful house, electro and various strains of global groove. Less interested in quick wins and more focused on long-term value creation, Cricket approaches every set like a negotiation - reading the room, shifting gears and letting the records speak for themselves. She's developed a reputation for deep crates and an ability to broker momentum. A perpetuator (and documenter) of the deal, she can often be found closing transactions behind the decks and capturing evidence on her trusty digi cam.

Rubio has been controlling dancefloors longer than some of you have been legally allowed to enter them, transmitting vibes and the wubs at clubs, pubs, warehouses, doofs and festivals in and around his hometown of Eora for the last 16 years. Rubio is the head honcho of Cosmic Boogie, who for the last 8 years have thrown fun and friendly events, pushing a blend of house, UKG, disco and breaks. He joins us to close out the night with the big, bouncy energy his late sets are known for.
