ABOUT BUUNSHIN: 
Buunshin aka Ferry Mellegers is a visionary artist. Emerging from the Dutch bass music scene, his work encapsulates his drive for challenging the norm, taking over the world one continent at a time. Pushing the boundaries of bass music with every new release, his style takes you on a journey of emotions ranging from purity to catharsis. No matter where you experience his genre defining sound, be prepared to feel.


Through showing dedication while having started in his early twenties, his authentic work quickly gained respect and support from Skrillex, Flume, Chris Lake, Porter Robinson and many others. Picking up the pace where Noisia personally handed him their torch, his performances have left a lasting and unparalleled impression worldwide.


After working closely with fellow visionary artists like What So Not, DJ Fresh, IMANU, DROELOE and The Caracal Project, he solidified his unique approach to collaboration and remixes. With Buunshin’s remix for Apashe’s “Distance” standing out as a clear high note, the world renowned music outlet UKF recognised it as one of the most iconic Drum & Bass tracks of all time, which made him coveted globally.


Taking inspiration from the fragility of life, the light that exists in the dark, the suffering within the human experience, Buunshin translates musical ideas in a way that reminds us of the depth of the universe. He studies relentlessly, experiments with new technologies, welcomes enchanting vocals, maximises bass sounds and embodies nostalgia; all to tell stories that explore our deepest thoughts.

Mirage KX's life has burned bright in the almost twelve months it's been active, and with only a few weeks to go, we're so happy that they've invited us along to play host.

Contrary to some of our recent birthday celebrations, on this night we're keeping it local, & keeping it intimate. Mirage KX is a close, tight and relatively 'private' space, and we can't wait to behave a little differently for a night.

His scorching techno sets have led to long-term residencies at the likes of Faust Soul, House of Mince in Sydney, and at his home-base of Berghain. ABOUT FLOWIDUS:


Born just prior to the early 90’s rise of drum & bass, producers Raphael (based in Raglan, New Zealand) and Garo (based in Perth, Australia) have rooted their sound in the form, both as solo artists, and now collaboratively. Their combined passion for good vibes, and being able to share that with their fans was what defined their stage name FLOWIDUS, with both producers being quoted as saying “when people see us or hear our music, we want them to feel a part of it." 


FLOWIDUS have spent the last few years cementing themselves as household names in the genre across the globe. HART is a queer techno party stripping things back to basics: fierce music, powerful sound, and a radically inclusive community of techno lovers. 

Our music policy is simple, create a night of evolving sounds that progress through the kaleidoscopic variations of techno. Starting with a deep and sexy selection, the party will build up to rolling, hypnotic tracks that continue to unfurl as the event ventures into harder edged sounds that will take us through to the wee hours of the morning.

At HART, we do not tolerate any form of transphobia, homophobia, biphobia, racism, misogyny or discrimination of any kind. Respect and compassion are acts of radical rebellion in our current political climate, practice them always.

There will be loud music playing throughout the night at HART, though we’ll be keeping flashing lights to a minimum. The basement is not accessible by wheelchair, but the first floor will be, which will include a quiet space to take a breather. We are working with the venue to provide a streaming service to extend the event downstairs to the accessible areas of the venue. If you have any accessibility requirements, please reach out to the team before the night so we can accommodate.

BassHaven Volume 002 has landed and once again returning to the Carousel on May 23rd - bringing a night of deep energy and serious heat. Headlining this special occasion is Melbourne’s William Kiss, a producer and DJ obsessed with deep-cut grooves and pure rhythm, known for his heavy percussive energy and main floor driven sound. Joining alongside him is Caleb Jackson, a prolific artist carving his own lane with energetic, genre-blending sets rooted with psychedelic house and percussion-driven flows. 

At pace of these two, Sydney's own Deaf Toucan joins us once again - a brotherly duo blending 90s house and techno with a swung, groovy touch. Supporting this stacked lineup are two of Sydney’s established talents, Jaquel and Silly Lilly, setting the tone throughout the night with high energy, genre-spanning sounds built to ignite the floor.

Finally on the close is b.cash. A penchant for blending horny bangers, lowkey heaters and left field thumpers, b. caszh is known for creating a vibe that’s as danceable as it is fuckable. Co-founder of duo Work Wife, she’s cemented herself as a fixture in the naarm underground dance scene. Over the years, she’s developed a not-too-serious percussive & bassy sound spanning hi-nrg progressive house, bongo laden breaks, classic chunky dub & camp house boomers.

CRAZE
If the first thing you know about Craze is that he's the only solo DJ to win the DMC World Championships 3 times over, prepare to get yourself schooled.
By the age of 20, Craze had won his first DMC World Championship. Two more consecutive wins later, he was (and remains to this day) the only three-time winner of the world's most respected international DJ competition, the DMC World Championship - earning the attention of Time Magazine who proclaimed him America's Best DJ.
After touring with Kanye West, Craze founded Slow Roast Records with Kill The Noise, an imprint of the infamous Fool's Gold Records (A-Trak, Kid Cudi, Danny Brown). 
As if that wasn't enough, in 2015 he brought us one of the most prolific DJ routine videos to date: "New Slaves".
With greatness at the forefront of all Craze does, in 2016 he started a DJ super group with Four Color Zack - 2¢, with the primary goal of creating and presenting the most exciting DJ show on the planet. Since then they have been taking their brand of witty wordplay and impeccable DJ skills to the masses through their mixtapes and live shows which can be summarized as a true tour de force.

DILLINJA
One of the more prolific producers in jungle music -- with records on over ten labels strong, two of them his own -- Dillinja is one of the few drum'n'bass artists who spends more time in the production studio than in clubs. While living in Brixton in the early '90s, he became tipped to jungle by DJ Bryan G, who lived around the corner from him. Fascinated with the sound of drum'n'bass, Dillinja began recording in 1991, releasing tracks on Cybotron, Intelligent IQ, Conqueror, Logic, Lionheart, V, Philly Blunt, and his own Deadly Vinyl label. In 1994, he recorded "The Angels Fell" for Goldie's Metalheadz label and became one of the hottest names in jungle. With his friend Lemon D. (who has also recorded for Metalheadz), Dillinja formed Valve Records, a label that expanded the drum'n'bass aesthetic to include elements of ancient analogue sequences.
