Phantasy Break is a club night dedicated to showcasing a type of music we don't hear in Naarm very often. it's faster than techno but not as fast as drum n bass... u may hear breakbeats, 808 drum kits, aetherial textures, strange samples and fast chord stabs. somewhere between Breakbeat Hardcore, Footwork and Jungle is where we find ourselves. this shit is pure gas and our selectors are experts in this field.
u want to let loose? bring friends... or don't! come meet some cool people who enjoy this underground sound and dance ur anxiety away.
we want to foster community and any hateful behaviour will not be tolerated. this event is queer-led and supportive of all flavours of LGBTQ+. we acknowledge that we'll be dancing on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurung people and sovereignty was never ceded. indigenous folk and those experiencing financial hardship can attend for free, msg us on insta.
