Women in the Mix is a new not-for-profit collective formed by women for women, to create inclusive, empowering spaces where women thrive - in music, business and wellbeing.

Rooted in the underground - from UK garage and breaks to vocal-driven rave anthems -
Lu.Re crafts a sound that’s raw, emotional, and unmistakably her own. Named Radio 1’s
Future Star of 2025, she’s already released on FFRR, Rinse FM, and Utopia, with her next EP
set to drop on the legendary Fabriclive series. Her music pairs deep, thoughtful lyrics for
the overthinkers with heavy basslines, sharp breaks, and addictive hooks, striking a rare
balance: equally powerful on a festival stage, a club system, or looping in your headphones. A
rare multi-talent, Lu.Re produces, writes, sings, and mixes her tracks herself, giving her
sound a self-contained authenticity that cuts through.
Breaking through with the underground anthem “Take Me Up” and following up with the
speed-garage smash “I Know Nothing Better”, she’s proven she can deliver underground
firepower while crossing into Radio 1 territory. With playlist support from Apple’s DanceXL
and Today’s Hits, as well as Spotify’s New Music Friday UK, Rave Factory, and All New
Dance, she’s connecting across the spectrum of UK dance culture.
On the decks, she’s supported Interplanetary Criminal and Sammy Virji on big stages and
delivered stand-out sets at Fabric, Drumsheds, and Amnesia, as well as festivals including
Glastonbury, Boomtown, and Reading. Alongside her monthly Rinse FM show, she’s won
support from heavyweights including Champion, Girls Don’t Sync, and Machinedrum, while
collaborating in the studio with Gorgon City, Smokin’ Bubblin B, Jolie P., Preditah, L-Vis,
and Capo Lee.
