HAPPY STATION HALLOWEEN w/ DARRYN JONES

2 years ago, we threw our first Halloween party at Sugar and it was a ghastly & ghostly night to remember. This time, we’re pulling out all stops and inviting an underground Chicago legend.
Darryn Jones’ DJ sets in neighborhood dive bars & backyard dance parties brought him local home-town hero status. More recently, his ability to blend music from across Chicago’s musical heritage has been earning him festival appearances across Europe and the UK, all the while blessing audiences with his decades-deep knowledge of digging into Chicago’s endless crates of underground disco, Muzik Box-inspired edits, jackin house and home-grown funky gospel. Since releasing his debut single in 2020, his privately-pressed records are often sold out within weeks. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be hosting Darryn Jones on his debut Aussie tour.
But this isn’t just a Happy Station party, this is a Happy Station Halloween Party. Costumes are greatly encouraged (borderline mandatory). Plus, we’ve got a LOLL (League of Local Legends) joining us on the lineup: Nantale, Brigitte, XXXquisite & Breaking Even. Everyone’s bringing their spookiest trax to jack the house with.
