DANCE TO THE BEAT OF YOUR OWN FREQY RHYTHM <3
Freqy Rhythm is a new record label and event series for the LGBTQI+ community and those that love them, here in Naarm, Australia and beyond. The label provides a platform for artists to be unapologetically themselves and showcase their emerging sounds.
We’re launching the label and event series with a queer warehouse rave on Friday April 4th at Rubix Warehouse in Brunswick.
We’re joined by BELLA, all the way from the Netherlands, known for their uplifting, acid and nostelgia-infused house music sets, alongside a debut b2b from Naarm’s Bertie and Eora’s Deepa, plus energy-infused hours of power from Naycab, Meat Raffle, D. Tyrone and Dorky Kenny.
The event will also showcase an art installation by J Davies, a performance by Loxy, visuals by Elliot, and tattoos by Tatt Toosh.
50% of profits from the event will be donated to Transcend Australia, who support Australian families and their trans, gender diverse and non-binary children and young people.
The other 50% of profits will go towards the ‘Find Your Freqy Rhythm’ production course supporting new and emerging LGBTQI+ producers locally. Further details on this will be announced via RA soon.
