Melbourne’s dance music faithful: Get ready, Eat The Beat Festival is back at the city’s iconic PICA Warehouse on February 27, 2026. This time we are stepping things up in every possible way.
Now in its second monumental edition, the festival will transform the sprawling industrial Warehouse into a multi-sensory playground across two powerful stages, each offering its own distinct world of sound and energy.
Front and centre, the Main Stage promises Eat The Beat’s most ambitious production yet, headlined by four giants of the global scene: ALOK, Nicole Moudaber, Space Motion, and Space 92 bringing their signature energy to Melbourne.
Debuting as the festival’s Second Stage, The Hilltop Experience will be hosted by the legendary HILLTOP GOA, one of the world’s most iconic psytrance institutions. Festivalgoers can expect a full-blown trip of psychedelic soundscapes, hypnotic visuals, and high-energy immersion direct from India’s spiritual home of Psytrance music.

GMS (also known as the Growling Mad Scientists) are a Dutch psychedelic trance duo which have attained significant popularity, beginning in the early 1990s. Formed by Shajahan Matkin (also known as Riktam) and Joseph Quinteros (also known as Bansi) in the city of Amsterdam, located in the west of The Netherlands, the duo has attracted a large international fanbase. GMS founded Spun Records in 1999, the first psychedelic trance label in the United States and Ibiza, Spain.
