Alfio Antico & Go Dugong + Rafet + Khaled Kurbeh
Event Description
BMF joins forces with Crown Ruler and Research Records for a night exploring folk tradition and electronic experimentation. Italian trio Alfio Antico & Go Dugong expand the realm of folk music with their album "La Macchia" – meaning the meeting point between past and future. Berlin-based Syrian composer Khaled Kurbeh maps migration and memory through classical piano and contemporary electronics. Melbourne's Rafet returns after four years with ambient, jazz and drone, in his first live show since releasing on Research Records. Ex Ponto on the decks between sets.
